Intimacy in Tents
Camping out in the woods, surrounded by nothing but the
great outdoors in all of its splendor, is almost certain to arouse all sorts
of passions in adventurous couples, who see this as an opportunity to enjoy
the unblemished wonders of nature, as well as each other.
Certainly, engaging in intimate activities deep in a forest clearing,
with nobody to disturb you or complain about the loud noises that you make,
has its immediate appeal.
Moreover, the enclosed space provided by a tent, zipped up and segregating
one from the rest of the world, can ignite sensual energies within a couple
that are only enhanced by the pleasant serenity of the environment waiting
just past the tent door.
Lovemaking in a tent after a long day exploring or hiking is an excellent
cap to the day’s events, and it does seem to a loving couple to be the most
natural thing, nestled warmly in one’s tiny, secluded corner of the
universe.
To make sure that this interesting choice of an
intimate spot does not turn into a wilderness nightmare, you may want to
take note of the following tips:
- Pick a
Remote Location – the potential of getting caught in the act may
heighten the excitement, but it’s not something to which you want to
aspire. Search for an area that
is a fair distance off any used trails, preferably on higher ground, and
certainly not in areas infested with poison ivy or poison oak, which
will have you itching in a very different way for the next few days.
- Keep the
Noise Down – if you’re in a public campsite area or a little too
close to civilization, you may want to turn down the volume on your
lovemaking sessions. Even if the
spot you’ve chosen is truly desolate, just be mindful that your cries of
ecstasy may attract unwanted attention from wandering animals.
- Dispose of
Your Trash – after you’ve enjoyed each other’s company, you may have
garbage, in the form of used tissues or condoms, sitting around in the
tent. Don’t simply throw these
away, or bury them somewhere, which is just as bad, but instead seal
them in a plastic bag to dispose of properly once you return from your
trip.
-
Protect Your Tent – sweat and
bodily fluids that linger on nylon or polyester could cause slow damage
to the tent floor. You may wish
to bring a blanket or floor cloth that you can use to absorb these
substances, to ensure that your tent does not suffer any deterioration
from your intimate time.
- Watch Out
for Bears – sex is generally not recommended in locations inhabited
by bears. These fearsome forest
dwellers tend to get intrigued, and subsequently drawn to, the odors and
pheromones that humans produce during sex.
The last thing you want bearing down on you when you’re naked and
rolling around in a tent is a disturbed bear.
If you discover that you’re in bear country, you may want to hold
off on the tent lovemaking session, or better, just pack up and look for
a better place to pitch your shelter of pleasure.
